Dublin Marathon Series

We have used Bootcamp Ireland over the past 3 years for warm ups in the SSE Race series and Marathon. We have always received excellent service and they have greatly improved the atmosphere in the start and finish area for the runners. Timing and quality have always met our expectations and everything was communicated in a professional and timely manner.

Mo Run

We have been organising our Dublin MoRun since 2010 and from that time we have worked with Bootcamp Ireland who we are very proud to have onboard to provide our warm up. The team have been fantastic, providing great energy, support and have delivered exactly what we have wanted in terms of getting our runners positive, excited and motivated prior to their run. We look forward to continuing this relationship and highly recommend Bootcamp Ireland!

MOTIVATIONAL SPEAKER

Lorraine-newLorraine Ho founded Bootcamp Ireland in 2004. Entrepreneurship is in her DNA. She has worked in Business Development roles in Dublin and some time back in the US working with USIT and presenting Ireland as a ‘work abroad destination’ to American Colleges. During her time in America she saw how much outdoor activity there was in the parks and outdoor spaces and following her travels, it gave her the inspiration to set up ‘Bootcamp Ireland’, giving her the opportunity to be active and outdoors, which is what she loves doing.

Lorraine has also been invited to be a motivational speaker at Diageo events and Leaders of our Nation conference. She was also delighted to be asked to be a judge on the Coca Cola Thank- you fund 2014 and 2015 panel, where €125k each year is awarded to different non-profit organisations, who come up with an idea for keeping people active by providing a programme/facility for their community.

TESTIMONIALS

Lorraine was a judge for our flagship community initiative, the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund, working with us to help communities become more active, more often.

The judging panel composed of experts in physical activity, community and non-profit programmes, and it benefitted hugely from Lorraine’s expertise, helping to determine which projects would have the most impact in communities across Ireland and were the most deserving of funding.

Lorraine’s guidance to applicants was also invaluable; sharing her insights to successful community engagement, and ways to ensure sustained participation in the programmes.

Over the five years of the Thank You Fund, more than €625k has been donated to 42 projects, benefitting an estimated 30,000 people across the island of Ireland. We are very grateful to Lorraine for helping us to achieve this success.
